3-corner positive milling insert with high productivity

YG-1 has launched 3-corner 90° shoulder milling designed for various milling applications like facing, slotting, and side milling. The 3-corner positive insert is designed with a high-helix cutting edge to reduce cutting force and provide smooth cutting, the high positive rake angle geometry to provide optimized chip formation and minimized burrs, and the newly designed curved cutting edge to minimize mismatch at step machining. The wide wiper edge provides a better surface finish on the floor of the workpiece.

The new grade YG612 with a multi-nano PVD coating improves the performance and offers longer tool life compared with existing YG602.

The combination of the new 3-corner 90° shoulder milling insert, YG SM3 MILL TPKT and the new grade, YG612 provides customers with superior performance for machining various materials.
